Academic History and Professional Background
A typical front row student, Joseph Stella has a long history of curiosity and academic distinction. He attended West Virginia Wesleyan College and earned his degree in History and Political Science. Soon after, he enrolled in graduate school. However, after a year, he realized that teaching was not his calling. Instead, he moved to the Orlando area and attended Seminole Community College, where he earned his AS in Legal Studies. He then interned at the Seminole County Public Defender’s Office.
While acting as caretaker for his mother, Joseph Stella applied for, was accepted at, and attended the Barry University School of Law. He did so well in law school, the university actually hired him to grade essays written by other students. After graduating from law school, he established his own legal practice. He spends extensive time with seniors at church and in the community, so he decided that elder law and estate planning would be a natural fit.
Today, Joseph Stella is proud to serve his community through the Law Office of Joseph Stella, PLLC. His law firm holds a strong track record in the Escambia and Seminole areas.
A lifelong academic, Joseph Stella is heavily involved in several professional organizations. These include the Young Lawyers Section of the Escambia/Santa Rosa Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council of Northwest Florida. He was also involved with the Seminole County Bar Association. He believes that his ongoing affiliation with these organizations keeps him at the forefront of local trends in estate planning and elder law.
